Finally, a book that validates my whole existence. If you or someone you love has been persecuted for not being a cheerleader, or trying to be and failing miserably at it, this book will help you get over all the hoop-la of gregariousness so you can enjoy your tea and Scrabble in peace.

If I had known what this book was about before I started reading it, I probably wouldn't have read it. It was just my love for John Greene that made me pick it up, and I was so happy that I did once I started it. It's my "No Sick Or Dying People Especially Children" rule that of course I make a lot of exceptions to. Anyway, painful plot aside, the characters are fantastic and the perfect amount of magic-not the witchy kind, just the real life kind-make this book a one-sitting-er.

And speaking of Search for Wondla, in anticipation I will just mention this, coming out in May! Can't wait!

Once I got over this book being written by a celebrity, I found out that it's a really great book full of interesting bite-sized ways to help kids with that magical element often missing from their lives and yours-mindfulness.
